Simplified Cap Torque Adjustment

Fogg's latest improvement is the changes made to the Model 26.1 capping heads. These upgraded heads now have a completely tool-less torque adjustment feature.
In the past, if you needed to increase or reduce the torque on your Fogg capping heads, you would need an Allen wrench in order to loosen the screw on the front of the head (shown above on the left), allowing the gauge to turn adjusting the torque. Now, this process is completely tool-less. All you need to do is hold tightly on the ribbed portion of the capping head and pull up (shown above on the right). This disengages the jaws, allowing you to simply rotate one way or the other, to adjust to your required torque.
This style of capping head is available on all Fogg cappers, including the standard, 700 series, pick n place, and the articulating jaw capper. If you have an existing Fogg capper and want to upgrade your Model 26.1 heads, Fogg can send a kit with 4 pieces and some springs to swap out, or you can send your capping heads back to Fogg, and we can make the changes for you!
