Metering Pumps For Fogg Sanitizing Systems

Fogg has started adding automatically adjustable metering pumps for dosing in chemical concentrate as opposed to using chemical injection pumps that were adjusted by hand.
This chemical metering pump is motor driven using a variable frequency drive for precise volumetric flow. On a Fogg system, the metering pump is used for injecting a precise amount of chemical concentrate into the blending tank for Fogg Sanitizing Systems.
Fogg's new metering pump system reduces downtime and operator error. The operator enters the titration result into the HMI, the program compares the titration results against the required concentration, and then automatically adjusts the chemical concentration in the blending tank by adding the appropriate volume of water or concentrate.
Another benefit to this automated pump is you can change the required concentration when a new chemical is desired. There is no need to reach out to the OEM to change or buy new equipment.
Also, the accuracy of the mixture controlled by the metering pump allows for reduced chemical waste, saving time and money.
