Fogg Introduces Extream Clean™ Integrated Filling Systems for Longer Shelf Life

Holland, Michigan. . .Fogg Company, a market leader in the design and manufacture of rotary filling systems for the liquids industry, is now building integrated systems featuring new Extream Clean™ technology. Extream Clean™ incorporates numerous advances in sanitation and particulate control into the company’s Fill Pro filling systems to address the growing demand for extended product life filling.

The new integrated system utilizes advances in auto sanitation and cleanroom technologies in achieving a significantly improved hygienic environment for cold filled products. This sanitation level has been achieved with minimal impact on production efficiency or performance, and at a cost considerably less than aseptic systems.

“We recognize that our customers are faced with several critical issues: achieving a longer shelf life without adding a host of preservatives or sacrificing production levels,” said Fogg Sales Manager Ben Fogg. “Our new Extream Clean™ technology addresses these issues cost-effectively in a fully integrated system that is easy to operate and maintain, with faster production changeover.”

The new Fogg system integrates container sanitation and rinsing, with high-speed rotary filling and capping in a Class 100 HEPA enclosure. Dynamic CIP technology, activated automatically or manually from the external control panel, cleans the filling bowl and valves while the bowl continues to operate. The Dynamic CIP program can be activated to solution rinse the valves and contact surfaces at intervals during the production run, or rinse the bowl, valve and all contact surface at product change over. The rotary filler, engineered with sanitation surfaces, is available in a wide range of capacities, and features patent-pending CIP valves and Micro-bloc™ antimicrobial elastomers and lubricants.

Extream Clean™ is ideal for cold packing dairy, juice, water and other products with low or high acidic levels. Additional Extream Clean™ options include steam cap sterilization, and Sanibar spray systems with automatic rinse cycle.
