A highly versatile system, Fogg Neck Rail replaces traditional starwheels and pedestal lifts with neck handling that not only provides greater control over container speed and position; it also streamlines product changeover. Neck Rail is preferred in higher throughput applications, especially those with lightweight PET containers, frequent container size changeover, non-contact filling or systems using air-conveyors.
How It Works:
From the incoming timing screw, the container is fed into a turret by a neck-level
star wheel. The channel serves two purposes: lifting the container to the valve
and supporting the neck during filling and high-speed transfer. Once filled,
the container exits the filling channel and enters the capping system by the
neck of the container.

• Increased container control for higher throughput with less spillage
• Handles containers by the neck, eliminating changeover for bottle of
equivalent neck size

• Allows lighter PET bottles in contact filling, including 15 gram, without
