Antimicrobial Protection Down to the Last Detail
New Fogg Micro-bloc™ technology brings antimicrobial protection to critical areas of filling system components: elastomers and lubricants. Now available on all Fogg rinsers, fillers and cappers, Micro-bloc™ works continually to prevent micro-organisms from feeding on rubber parts, where they traditionally reproduce and cause foul odors, mildew, slime, and discoloration. What’s more, Micro-bloc™ is not a surface treatment, but an integral ingredient in the elastomer, assuring life-long elastomer performance and protection.
Continuous, Proactive Protection
Because the antimicrobial agent is an integral ingredient, Micro bloc’s qualities will not diminish over time or usage. Its inorganic silver base provides continual effectiveness, even in high wear or abrasive applications, against a wide spectrum of micro-organisms. Continuous protection against containments and growth means elastomers last longer.

Cleaner Operations
Effective sanitary design encompasses all surfaces, including gaskets or seals that may serve as traps for bacteria. Micro-bloc™ delivers antimicrobial protection to these often hard-to-reach and difficult-to-clean surfaces. Micro-bloc™ inhibits bacteria from growing on the surface, reducing the need for costly and time-consuming cleaning and decontamination procedures associated with conventional elastomers. Traditional decontamination service time is costly, and is often accompanied by premature parts replacement as an alternative
to cleaning. There’s no need to replace Micro-bloc™ elastomers until they have reached their full service life.
